Maes Chwarae (Playing Field) is an immersive performance that delves into the history of a former school, exploring its playground, the echoes of voices on the PA, and the physical activities once performed within its walls. Through movement, sound, and installation, the show brings to life the forgotten dynamics of childhood play, its rituals and rules, and the subtle yet powerful relationships between bodies long since absent. As spring unfurls, the performance draws on the renewal of the seasons, mirroring the cycles of growth and transition once lived within the schoolyard. The audience is invited to step into a space where time collapses, memories resurface, and the whispers of youth reverberate in the air.
